Time flies... In 'bout a couple of days it's Eid Ul Fitr... Or in Malay, Hari Raya Aidilfitri. One of the biggest celebration in the Islamic calendar. After a month of fasting in the month of Ramadhan, this is the reward dat everybody's waiting for. A day for joyous celebration after a month long of refraining ourselves from the things dat would spoil our fasts...and also learnin' to be a better person...
Personally for me...it's kinda sad to see the Ramadhan goes by... Juz hope dat I would still be alive next year to go through it again... It got me thinkin' 'bout last year's Ramadhan... I was at a different workplace...wit different people and a few different frenz. But most of them is just there to use me... Glad it didn't happen again this year... Well, like I always said...everythin' happens for a reason... It has tought me a lot 'bout the value friendship. And I value frienship juz a lil' less than how I value family ties... Hey, family comes first...no matter wut happens... You wouldn't be alive without your family, ok...
I'm 'bout to do sumthin' different dis time around... But let me juz keep it to myself for now... I wanna make sure dat it works...no matter wut...... It's 'bout me now...it's 'bout my life. But don't be surprised if you see a different 'Me'. Ali n Jo...we gonna make dis thing works... We have too...There's no turning back now... A lot is at stake for us... We've been at the bottom for far too long...now, it's our time... It's ten percent luck, twenty percent skill, fifteen percent concentrated power of will. Five percent pleasure...fifty percent pain. Ramadhan is now in its final week...dat sucks. Hmmm...finally went back to my parent's house last week... Spend 'bout 4 days there... Doin' basically nothin', and for once...nothin' is good. I finally got a chance to rest and relax. Well, apart from pickin' up my mum from the shop and goin' shoppin' wit my parents... As usual, I did the normal things dat I would do at my parent's house...wakin' up late, washing their car, fetchin' my mum etc... It's a bit special dis time though...we went to the mosque for 'Terawih' together... Hehehe...... It's not dat I never did it before..but I was a long time since I last did it wit them.
And as expected...I came back wit a whole bunch of things dat my mum bought me... Hey, I went there wit just a small bag and some dirty laundry (so dat I could wash it at my their house)... Well, my mum bought me a shirt, and some things to make the house a bit complete... Hehehe... My mum said dat she'll give me some money to buy a washing machine and a fridge. Huhuhu...but I have to pay her back la... Uh, well...fair enuff for me...
Here's some of the things dat I need to buy for myself...a jacket or a sweater (since dat I have no idea where the previous one went to...), a new pair of sneakers or a sport shoes or wutever you wanna call it, a couple of new office shirts and some t-shirts... FOS and Reject Shop...Here I come... Hahahaha... Oh, yeah...I forgot one more thing... Transformers!!! But, it all depends on the budget dat I have... If everythin' goes well...I shouldn't have any issue. I did some calculation (can you believe it!!! I can actually calculate!!!)...and after I deducted all the things dat I need to pay... I should still have some left for me to buy the things I need...
Which reminds me... I gotta get myself some blank CDs. I compiled a playlist of songs from Avenged Sevenfold, Finger Eleven, Aerosmith, Guns N Roses, Metallica, Dio & Yngwie Malmsteen, Dream Theater, DragonForce, Slipknot, Hammerfall, Blind Guardian, Nightwish, Korn, Rage Against The Machine, Slayer, Sepultura, Motorhead, Drowning Pool, Marilyn Manson, Saliva and so on... It's gonna be a head bangin', brain splatterin' and earth shatterin' playlist from the start 'till the end... I wonder should I add some melodic death metal or gothic into it... I do have Cradle of Filth and Theater of Tragedy wit me... Hmmmm.... I remembered the time when I used to listened to all sorts of crazy music like death metal, black metal, gothic... Dat was in college...'bout 6 or 7 years ago... Most of the songs was deleted when my Dad re-formatted my PC. Hahaha...yup...my bad. I didn't get the chance to back-up all of it... I only got a few left...but I dun even remember where the hell dat I keep it... Uh, well...looks like I gotta start from scratch...again......
Me, ZuL and ChAcK agrees on a lot of things. One of it, is music. We believe dat for every situation dat anyone could possibly imagine, there's a suitable kind of music or song for it. And of course all of us listens to more or less the same kind of music... Well, we do enjoy old rock songs by Scorpions, Aerosmith, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and all. We also like the music from the older generation...whether it's from local or foreign artists. ZuL is our point of reference for those songs. Maybe some of you dun believe dis but we do listen to music from the 50's and 60's too. Not to mention Bee-Gees, Beatles and stuff like dat. ChAcK is more into Gary Moore and ol'skool 80's rock. Tight jeans, long haired and high-pitched rockers... Me, Myself and I, on the other hand listens to rock (slow and fast), metal (heavy, death, black, speed, gothic) and also neo-classical (by Malmsteen and Apocalyptica). It depends on my mood or mode... Hey, we all listens to The Godfather Theme and also the songs from old Clint Eastwood cowboy movies... Ever heard of The Ecstacy of Gold instrumental piece from the movie 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly'?!?! But the 3 of us is more like 'The Wise, The Thinker and The Wutever...' Hahahaha
But dun give me any of those stupid Hip-Hop bullshit dat we keep on hearing on the radio. It'll piss me off in 4 seconds, max... They are juz singin' 'bout the same crap over and over again... 20 inch spinners, pimped-up SUVs, drugs, guns and getting laid in a toilet in a some stupid club or sumthin'... Ever wonder why people wanna live 'a RockStar' rather than sumthin' else? Nobody sings 'bout wanting to be a Rap or Hip-Hop so-called stars. Well, for starters...how many RockStar you've heard of being shot at? Or gettin' killed in a drive-by shootin'? It's definately wayyy lower than the amount of Hip-Hoppers dat has been killed wit the same method. See...the chances of living is better if you're a RockStar. Hahahaha... Even those crappy Hip-Hoppers sing 'bout how cool it is to be a ROCKSTAR!!! Rockers will come, kick some ass and everybody will remember it forever... Others juz come, talk some shit and people will forget them within half a minute...
